How to Make Authentic Italian Pizza With Our Kit

Ingredients for 2 pizzas (included in the kit):

  • 250g Tipo "0" Pizza Flour
  • San Marzano DOP Tomatoes
  • Fresh Mozzarella

Additional ingredients needed:

  • 15g active dry yeast
  • 130ml room temperature water
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 10g salt fine
  • Optional toppings: olives, capers, oregano, etc.

Instructions:

In a glass, dissolve the yeast and honey in a portion of the room-temperature water.

In a large bowl, mix the flour with the dissolved yeast, the remaining water, salt, and olive oil. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Shape it into a ball and score the top with an “X” to help it rise. Place the dough in a large container, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rest at room temperature for about 40 minutes. Divide the dough into two equal portions. Let them rest, covered, for 15 minutes.

Lightly oil two 28cm (11-inch) pizza pans. Place each dough ball into a pan, gently stretch the dough and let them rest at room temperature for 1 hour. Then, finish stretching the dough to fill the pan and create a raised edge for the crust.

Crush (by hand or with a fork) and lightly season the San Marzano tomatoes, spread them over the dough and add other toppings as desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 450–465°F (230–240°C) for 7–8 minutes. Remove the pizzas from the oven, add fresh mozzarella, and bake for an additional 4–5 minutes, until melted and bubbling.
