Cavatelli Fresh Italian Pasta Acqua e Semola

Cavatelli Fresh Pasta is a fresh short handmade pasta typical of southern Italy. They have an elongated shape, obtained by crushing the dough on the pastry board. Their shape resembles that of a boat, with a central opening and with a groove inside where each seasoning can be comfortably placed to be enjoyed.

Why Cavatelli Fresh Pasta is it special?

This type of pasta is a variation of gnocchi and is distinguished by the traditional type of dough, made simply of durum wheat semolina and water. A typical product of the Italian regional culinary tradition that will make you rediscover the genuine flavors of Mediterranean cuisine, these Cicatelli have been packaged in a controlled atmosphere environment to preserve the flavor of traditional fresh pasta.

The company uses only and exclusively a calibrated durum wheat semolina characterized by uniform grain size and a high protein quality that, skillfully processed, allows the production of a fresh artisan pasta of superior quality, differing from that produced with common semolina for its amber yellow color, for the high resistance in cooking and the characteristic flavor.
