Alma Gourmet Italian Acacia Honey Squeezer
Alma Gourmet Italian Acacia Honey Squeezer 8.8oz (250g)
Alma Gourmet 100% Italian Acacia Honey is a liquid honey, with a light pale and almost translucent appearance and a delicate, refined and pleasant aroma reminiscent of vanilla flowers, almonds and pods. With its soft, silky texture and sweet and delicate flavor, this honey is very often defined by tasters as “confettato” and leaves a fresh aftertaste reminiscent of sweet almonds. Harvested during spring in the Italian Pre-Alps acacia woods, this honey is produced and processed at a temperature that never exceeds 40° which is the temperature of the beehive, to ensure that the nutritional properties, flavor and aroma are kept intact during the entire process. As a consequence, this Acacia Honey is not pasteurized and presents a very slow crystallization process, which is a notable characteristic of acacia honey. This means that it remains in a liquid form for a longer period compared to other honey varieties, making it easy to use and spread.
Packaged in the convenient squeezer bottle, it is equipped with an “easy dose” valve that prevents the accidental spillage of the product and ensures the correct dosage when using it.
Acacia honey's mild flavor and light sweetness make it a versatile ingredient in both sweet and savory dishes. It blends well with other flavors, making it an excellent choice to drizzle over desserts and yogurts, sweeten coffee, teas and drinks, add to salad dressings, incorporate into marinades, and even paired with cheeses, both fresh and aged.
Acacia honey is considered hypoallergenic as it contains lower levels of pollen compared to other honey varieties, making it a preferred choice for individuals with pollen allergies or sensitivities.
