Spanish white asparagus are rare and valued for their delicious flavor profile and texture. They are grown beneath the ground and harvested at night -- this limits their exposure to sunlight which allows them to maintain their special white complexion. This is one of the key differences between white asparagus and green asparagus. 

This white asparagus is special because it has been cooked and prepared to be enjoyed right out of the jar. Normally fresh white asparagus needs to be peeled and boiled before consumption.

Serving Suggestions: These white asparagus are luxury in a tin. They deserve your undivided attention! We love to plate them on their own in a beautiful line -- garnished with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt or lemon. They are also delicious sliced and added to a pasta, or used to garnish a decorative vegetable paella. 

Care Instructions: This is a non-perishable product, so it will last for for quite some time! Keep stored in a cool and dry place and away from direct sunlight. Once you open it, and if you have some left, make sure to keep it tightly sealed and refrigerated.
