Spigadoro Penne Pasta – Bronze Cut Italian Pasta

Spigadoro Penne Pasta is made from 100% Italian durum wheat semolina, following a traditional Italian recipe perfected since 1822. Only high-quality semolina and pure water are used, allowing the dough to rest naturally so the wheat proteins develop fully, enhancing aroma, structure, and flavor.

The pasta is bronze-die extruded, giving it a rough, porous surface that captures sauces exceptionally well. It is then slow-dried at medium-low temperatures (around 40°C), preserving the wheat’s natural flavor, nutritional value, and organoleptic properties. This traditional process results in pasta that remains firm, elastic, and perfectly al dente, even beyond recommended cooking times.
