Saba Cooked Grape Must is made from a sweet unfermented syrup obtained from the must of grapes and can be considered the ancestor of the balsamic vinegar. It is produced by cooking down selected grape must, especially Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes.
Saba has an incredible fruity flavor and not pungent with notes of grapes, plums, and raisins. It is an extremely versatile product that can be added on meat and vegetable dishes, as well as a great addition over ice cream, desserts and fresh fruit.
