Made in the Bronx by Neapolitan artisan, Franco Spatola (otherwise known as the "godfather of cheese"), this luscious log is at once refreshingly light, salty, and smooth. Moist and flavorful with a silky sheen texture, this creamy mozzarella melts on your tongue into a fresh, clean finish. It's perfect paired with prosciutto in sandwiches or generously layered on top of baked ziti, but we especially love it in a Caprese salad and on top of pizza.
In Italy, mozzarella is often enjoyed at room temperature. Remove from the refrigerator at least one hour before eating to bring out the best flavor and texture.
