Appennino Food Clarified Butter with Black Summer Truffle is produced by removing the water and milk proteins from the butter. This not only makes it more suitable for use in cooking but, as it is lactose-free, also makes it easier to digest and suitable for people who are lactose intolerant. In addition, unlike standard butter, it does not need to be stored in the fridge.
Clarified Butter with Black Truffle adds extra flavor to all your food and sauces. It can be used as a substitute for olive oil or butter, to stir into a creamy risotto or pasta dish. For a more delicate flavor balance, you could use half Clarified Butter with Truffle and half regular butter. Our top tip for a delicious treat is to use this to make crunchy, golden fried foods or to use it as a pasta condiment to enhance the flavor of fresh truffles, white or black.
Ingredients: Clarified butter 96.7%, frozen dried summer truffle (Tuber Aestivum Vitt.) 2%, flavoring, salt. Lactose < 0,01 gr/100gr.
