Acorn-Fed Chorizo Iberico - Chorizo Iberico de Bellota
Acorn-Fed Chorizo Iberico - Chorizo Iberico de Bellota
Made from the finest cuts of free-range, acorn-fed Iberico pigs, this traditional Spanish chorizo is celebrated for its juicy texture, bold flavor, and natural seasoning of pimentón, garlic, and oregano.
Raised during the Montanera season (October through February), these Iberico pigs freely roam the Spanish countryside, feeding on acorns and grasses that lend their meat its distinctive marbled richness. This diet and lifestyle make the Iberico pig the most prestigious in the world.
Cured for a minimum of 60 days using time-honored artisanal methods in La Alberca, a natural reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site, this chorizo reflects Spain’s proud charcuterie tradition.
Presented in an elegant half piece (approx. 1 lb), it’s perfect for slicing thinly and serving with cheese, crusty bread, and fine Spanish wines.
Ingredients: Pork meat, salt, pimentón, dextrin, dextrose, garlic, oregano.
Weight: 1lb Approximately
