This kit includes:
- 1oz Fresh White Truffle, freshly imported from Italy twice a week
- 1 Pozzi Carnaroli Classico Risotto Rice 2.2lb (1kg) - Holiday Red Box
- 1 Truffle Butter (50g)
- 1 Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese 2lb
- 1 Stainless Steel Truffle Slicer
Preparation method
In a pot add some extra virgin olive oil with some chopped garlic if you wish to. In the meantime, heat some vegetable broth in a stockpot over medium-low heat until warmed. Add the rice to the pan, cook and stir rice until fragrant, about 1/2 minutes. Add 1 ladle of the hot broth to the rice mixture and stir constantly until the broth is absorbed. Keep adding 1 ladle of broth at a time unit the consistency of the rice is close to al dente. Add a generous amount of grated parmesan and keep cooking until rice is tender but firm to the bite. Remove from heat and stir in the butter. Plate the risotto and shave the white truffle on top with the truffle slicer. Buon appetito!
